Join us in the American Veterans Auditorium as we discuss The Briar Club by Kate Quinn. This 2024 historical novel tells the story of a group of women living in a 1950s Washington D.C. boardinghouse during the McCarthy era. When a mysterious newcomer, Grace March, arrives, she forms an unlikely sisterhood among the residents. Their lives, filled with secrets and societal pressures, are disrupted by a shocking murder that forces them to confront their hidden truths and the dangers of their era.
